Sooty is the sweetest little soul with so much love to give. When Sooty first came into our care, he was extremely underweight and completely matted, so he had to be shaved off to make him comfortable. Despite everything he’s been through, he has remained gentle, loving, and full of character. Please don’t let his age put you off — Sooty is still a busy chap who enjoys being involved in daily life. He loves his two half-hour walks each day and is great on the lead. He’s playful, adores his toys, and still has a lovely zest for life. At home, Sooty is a dream. He is spotlessly clean in the house and has wonderful manners. More than anything, he loves cuddles and simply wants to be by your side. He forms a close bond with his person and will happily follow you around, content just to be part of whatever you’re doing. Sooty is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy comfort, companionship, and the care he truly deserves in his golden years. In return, he will offer unwavering devotion and the sweetest companionship. Sooty has started his vaccinations and is up to date with his flea and worm treatment. He will go out on a foster to adopt contract as he is yet to be neutered. We will only home with existing dogs if they are neutered.

Please fill in an Adoption Application if you feel you are able to offer Sooty his perfect home!

If you are in rented accommodation you must have a letter stating permission to have a dog at the property. This must be ready before applying for a dog you would like.

Please DO NOT apply by phone.  When you put in an application form you will get an automated email to let you know we have received it (check your junk folder too).  We will contact you if your application is being considered.  Our volunteers do not have time to answer every email and phone call.
