Name: Max
Sex: Male
Age: 3 years
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Not tested
Good with children: 8+
Time to be left: Short periods
Max’s history is unknown, he was handed in after being found. He’s proving to be a real gentleman and charms everyone he meets with both his handsome good looks and personality. He’s been as good as gold at kennels and comes with a glowing report. He enjoys his walks out and is great traveling in a vehicle. He takes everything in his stride including his trips to the vets for his vet checks and neutering.
He’s been a real star when out walking with the volunteers. He walks well on a harness. He will need to have a home with a secure garden with fencing/wall height a minimum of 5ft and someone willing to take him for off lead runs in secure areas. As lurchers go, he’s more laid back, but he does still enjoy a play with toys and will amuse himself while checking in with you. He does enjoy a quick zoom and will get excitable though soon calms down. Max is a good size and is predominantly greyhound. He currently weighs in at 27kg. He could live with another medium to large size dog subject to introductions. He won’t be homed with cats or small furry creatures who are not secured.
Max is micro chipped, vaccinated, worm and flea treated to date.

Name: Chester
Breed: Shitzu X Yorkie X JRT
Age: 9 weeks
Sex: Male
Good with dogs: yes - must go with another small playful dog.
Good with cats: not tested
Good with children: 12+
Time able to be left: would like someone round most of the day.
Little Chester is a very charming, playful puppy. He is very terrier type and can be quite full on. Don’t be deceived by his tiny size you definitely know he’s around with his loveable cheeky character. This little man is a typical puppy that loves to play and charge about and is always on the go and up to mischief.
Chester enjoys a cuddle and fuss but loves nothing more than playing with other dogs and toys, his batteries just keep on going. For this reason Chester must go with another small playful dog to teach him the ways of the world and some manners. Chester loves his food and treats and will be easy to train. His foster home has been working on toilet training and it’s going well but still has the odd accident, he is still just a baby. He also travels well in the car.
Chester has had his 1st vaccination and 2nd due soon. He will be ready after this and will be going out on a foster to adopt contract until he is neutered. He is up to date with flea & worm treatment. He has no known health issues.

Names: Coda, Joshua, Mia, Luna and Noah
Breed: Akita x Husky
Age: approx. 14 weeks
Sex: 4 males 1 female
Good with dogs: Can go as an only dog or with another well socialised dog
Good with cats: Not tested
Good with children: 8+
Time to be left: Short periods
The pups came into our care 6 weeks ago, they had been dumped and were malnourished. Once they were on decent puppy food they have tripled in size. They have had their puppy vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and have been microchipped. They are obviously too young to be neutered so will go out on a fostering contract, and formal adoption once they have been neutered.
We had the pups DNA tested and they are Akita x Husky, the predominant breed is Akita, so we are looking to rehome them to Akita experienced homes only.

Beagle
Age: 10 years
Sex: Male
Good with dogs: yes
Good with cats: not tested
Good with children: 12+
Time able to be left: Short periods
🐾PLEASE READ THE FULL WRITE UP🐾
Benji the handsome beagle came to us from a very bad situation of terrible neglect. It has taken quite some time to get this boy right. Benji came in with horrendous skin issues and his skin was red raw from being in his own excrement.
As you can see Benji is now back on track with his ear infections and skin issues all managed well with apoquel which he will need to continue to take. 🐾The rescue are happy to continue to pay for his apoquel medication and anything relating to apoquel (vet checks regarding apoquel, repeat prescription fee). 🐾
Benji is a typical beagle, loves his walks and is nose down. He gets so excited when he sees his lead out and has started to do a happy dance. Everything is new to Benji so his new owners will need to spend time training him. Lead walking is one as he is a very strong boy. He is quite easy to train as he just wants to please his people and just loves treats. Benji is housetrained which he picked up quickly.
Benji likes other dogs and is always pleased to see them. Benji has only ever been an only dog so his new home can either be just him or a calm female dog.
Benji travels well in the car, has no other health issues except his skin, is neutered, vaccinated, and up to date with flea & worm treatment and microchipped.
