Simba is a lovely French Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger love of people. A typical Frenchie, he adores human company and would happily spend his days soaking up attention, enjoying tummy rubs and snuggling up for cuddles. He is an affectionate, gentle boy who forms strong bonds with his people and will make a wonderful companion. Poor Simba arrived in rescue having suffered significant neglect. He had already had one eye removed and has now received the veterinary care he needed, including treatment for a painful ear infection. Despite everything he has been through, Simba remains a happy, loving dog who takes life in his stride and is ready to find the forever home he deserves. Simba gets on well with other dogs, but because he only has one eye, any resident dog would need to be calm and respectful rather than boisterous. Equally, he would be perfectly happy as an only dog where he can enjoy plenty of attention from his humans. He travels well in the car, walks nicely on the lead once his initial excitement has worn off, and is not destructive in the home. While he isn't particularly interested in toys or play, he more than makes up for it with his loving nature and desire to be close to his people. Simba has overcome a difficult start in life and is now looking for a caring home where he can finally enjoy the love, comfort and security he has always deserved. Simba is microchipped, neutered and up to date with flea and worm treatments.
All dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flead and microchipped.
Please fill in an Adoption Application if you feel you are able to offer this dog their perfect home!
If you are in rented accommodation you must have a letter stating permission to have a dog at the property. This must be ready before applying for a dog you would like.
Please DO NOT apply by phone. When you put in an application form you will get an automated email to let you know we have received it (check your junk folder too). We will contact you if your application is being considered. Our volunteers do not have time to answer every email and phone call.
