Oreo is a gorgeous 8-month-old boy looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to grow in confidence and thrive. He absolutely loves people and is incredibly affectionate once he feels comfortable. Oreo is also fantastic with other dogs. He could go as an only dog or with another confident dog as he loves playful canine companions. He loves nothing more than a good run around and a game together.
Oreo is an active young dog with a bright mind. He’ll need plenty of daily exercise along with mental stimulation to keep him happy. He would absolutely excel at agility or scent work, as he enjoys having a job to do and loves learning new things. He’s especially fond of playing with balls and will happily chase and retrieve to his heart’s content! Out and about, Oreo is a pleasure to have around. He travels very well in the car and makes a lovely companion at the pub, settling nicely by your side. He walks well on the lead and has good recall, which makes adventures together even more enjoyable.
Oreo can be sensitive to sudden movements and unfamiliar situations, so he’s looking for a calm home that will continue building his confidence with patience and positive reinforcement. For this reason, a quieter household would suit him best. Ideally, his new home would have someone around for most of the day to help him settle and continue his training. With the right guidance, love, and consistency, Oreo will make a loyal, fun, and devoted companion. If you think you could offer this special boy the home he deserves, we’d love to hear from you. Oreo is up to date with his vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. Oreo will go out on a foster to adopt contact as he is too young to be neutered. Any existing dogs in the home must be neutered.
