Making a difference one dog at a time

Meet the beautiful Melissa, aka The Slug (Read on to find out why!) This lovely happy girl came into the rescue as a stray so we have no known history. We are sure she has never lived in a house before or been treated as a beloved pet and has been bred from.

 

Melissa has the sweetest character and has so much love to give and is just so happy. This girl absolutely loves people and loves a cuddle. She is very much a lap dog. Due to Melissa's past she will need training and patience with walking on a lead. She’s known as the Slug due to her just lying down when a lead is on her. When she’s in a secure field Melissa just zooms round taking everything in and enjoys a run round. She will also need some patience with housetraining. These are things that we are working on with her.

 

Melissa shows no sign of being destructive. We think she would benefit from and prefer to live with a dog that she can follow and learn from. She doesn’t know how to play or what toys are for but favours a cuddle and a lap. She travels well in the car, loves her food and treats. This is great for training. Melissa will be the most loyal companion, she has no known health issues, (check your junk folder too). We will contact you if your application is being considered

All dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flead and microchipped. Any existing dogs in the home must be neutered.

If you are in rented accommodation you must have a letter stating permission to have a dog at the property. This must be ready before applying for a dog you would like.
