Heather is a petite, very busy little pug. She is great company and hilarious to have around. She loves a cuddle and particularly likes to be near you whether you're up and about or sitting down. She is very quick to dash through doorways so this will need to be managed with doors leading outside.
Heather has a gruff little bark and will bark when left which is why she needs a home where someone is around for the majority of the day. She'll amuse herself by moving things around, though is not destructive. She enjoys the company of other dogs and subject to introductions could happily live with another.
Heather has had xrays which show she has mild hip dysplasia and slipping patellas. The vets have said that these do not require any interventions and there is no evidence of arthritis. She would benefit from being on a joint supplement and later in life she may need some pain relief should arthritis develop.
Her fosterer says Heather is a delightful little girl who makes everyone who meets her smile and will make a cracking companion. She is house trained and travels well in the car. She has been spayed and is up to date with her vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
Please fill in an Adoption Application if you feel you are able to offer this dog their perfect home!
If you are in rented accommodation you must have a letter stating permission to have a dog at the property. This must be ready before applying for a dog you would like.
Please DO NOT apply by phone. When you put in an application form you will get an automated email to let you know we have received it (check your junk folder too). We will contact you if your application is being considered. Our volunteers do not have time to answer every email and phone call.
