Meet the gorgeous Dottie!
This beautiful silver dapple miniature Dachshund is a fun-loving girl who absolutely adores people. She is very playful, full of character and always ready for her next adventure! Dottie would love an active home where she can enjoy plenty of walks, playtime and attention. She is good on the lead and loves getting out and about, so she would make a lovely companion for someone who enjoys spending time outdoors with their dog. Dottie can be a little barky when she sees other dogs when out on walk but she isn't nasty towards them. She would benefit from further socialisation and gentle, positive training to help her become more confident and relaxed around other dogs. For now, we are looking for a home where she can be the only dog and enjoy having all the love and attention to herself. Like many young dogs, Dottie is still learning the ropes, and her housetraining remains a work in progress. She will need a family who understands that she is still young and is happy to continue her training with patience and consistency. With her playful nature and love of people, Dottie has so much to offer. If you're looking for a lively, affectionate little companion to share your adventures and snuggle up with afterwards, Dottie could be the girl for you! Dottie will be going on a foster to adopt agreement as she has had a recent season. Dottie is microchipped, and up to date with her flea and worm treatments, and she comes with full rescue back-up.
Please fill in an Adoption Application if you feel you are able to offer this dog their perfect home!
If you are in rented accommodation you must have a letter stating permission to have a dog at the property. This must be ready before applying for a dog you would like.
Please DO NOT apply by phone. When you put in an application form you will get an automated email to let you know we have received it (check your junk folder too). We will contact you if your application is being considered. Our volunteers do not have time to answer every email and phone call.
