Buddy is a wonderful all-round companion with a cheerful, loving nature and a tail that never stops wagging — quite literally! Sadly, Buddy had to have the end of his tail removed after repeatedly injuring it from wagging so enthusiastically, which perfectly sums up just how happy and affectionate he is. He absolutely adores people, loves playing ball, and has a fun, playful personality that makes him a joy to be around. Buddy gets on brilliantly with other dogs and could happily live either as an only dog soaking up all the attention, or alongside another friendly canine companion. Buddy is house trained, settles well at night, travels well in the car, and has good recall unless a squirrel appears and proves too tempting! He is a large, strong Labrador and although generally good on the lead, he can pull if he chooses, so he will need an owner confident handling a strong dog. Buddy is a very happy boy with so much love to give and will make a fantastic companion for a family looking for a fun, affectionate dog to share life’s adventures with. Buddy is microchipped, neutered and up to date with flea and worm treatments.

All dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flead and microchipped.

Please fill in an Adoption Application if you feel you are able to offer this dog their perfect home!

If you are in rented accommodation you must have a letter stating permission to have a dog at the property. This must be ready before applying for a dog you would like.

Please DO NOT apply by phone.  When you put in an application form you will get an automated email to let you know we have received it (check your junk folder too).  We will contact you if your application is being considered.  Our volunteers do not have time to answer every email and phone call.
