Meet Bentley – Your Loyal Little Shadow
Bentley is a truly special little dog who is ready to find a loving home of his own. This affectionate boy absolutely adores human company and is happiest when he’s curled up beside you—better yet, fast asleep on your lap. He doesn’t demand constant attention, he simply loves being near his person and sharing quiet moments together. Bentley is fully house trained and has lovely manners in the home. He enjoys playing with his toys (a good game of tug-of-war is a firm favourite!) and likes his walks, though he doesn’t need anything too long or strenuous—he’s quite content with shorter strolls followed by a cosy rest. Like many dachshunds, Bentley can be a little barky at first as he settles into new surroundings, but once he feels secure, he relaxes and shows his wonderfully loving nature. He is barky on the lead when he meets other dogs but with more socialisation this will improve. Bentley would be happiest being an only dog lapping up all the attention. He doesn’t yet have reliable recall, so will need ongoing support and sensible management on walks. In the right environment, with a patient and understanding owner, he will absolutely flourish. Bentley would make an incredible companion for someone looking for a devoted, cuddly little friend who will bring warmth, comfort, and plenty of love into their life. Bentley is microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with his flea and worm treatment.
All dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flead and microchipped.
Please fill in an Adoption Application if you feel you are able to offer this dog their perfect home!
If you are in rented accommodation you must have a letter stating permission to have a dog at the property. This must be ready before applying for a dog you would like.
Please DO NOT apply by phone. When you put in an application form you will get an automated email to let you know we have received it (check your junk folder too). We will contact you if your application is being considered. Our volunteers do not have time to answer every email and phone call.
