Leonard is a standard size dachshund who came in as a stray so no history is known for him. He needs a new family who will help him build his confidence. He is wary of new people for about 10 mins, and when on lead he will bark to show he’s worried. Once he knows you he’s a friendly boy and enjoys attention, off lead he has been fine with other dogs. He is fine going out in the car.
He’s got used to walking on a lead and harness and is doing well. Len loves his food so this should help with any ongoing training. He is currently in kennels, so with not knowing if he’s previously lived in a home guidance with house training should be expected.
We are looking for a home with an older calm dog. Leonard is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatment.
